I am not so sure about this card, as I said before these are not colours I use very often, so in an attempt to include them all I printed out my sentiment on glossy paper using the colours of the week. I know my printer is not that great – in fact it is pretty old and a hand-me-down from a lovely friend – so I am not that happy with the result but I am putting it up here anyway.
I have had many visitors in the last couple of days, many more than usual. So thanks if you have been visiting, and feel free to leave a comment!
Anyway here it is…
My brother is having a baby soon and we don’t know the sex yet so this card could work for the baby shower coming up in a couple of weeks, actually it would be better for the birth, once the bub is here. I will just have to make another baby themed card for the shower!
Here it is nearing the end of day 2 of Summer Card Camp and I am yet to make my card, it is a technique that we are supposed to use today and I cannot find the stamp set I was going to emboss with so I can’t make my card…yet!
Below is a card I made yesterday for my Dad’s birthday today using the colours for this week. It is quite feminine for a man’s birthday card but I know he can handle it. 🙂
I can’t wait to show you the card I am going to make using the cool techniques from today’s instalment from camp but for now you will have to be satisfied with Dad’s card.
As I mentioned in my last post I am participating in the Summer Card Camp 2011 and every week we will be given a set of colours to work with and here are this weeks colours…
This one was a little tricky for me as I don’t use these colours very often, however my recent Basic Grey kits helped me out somewhat. So here it is…and thanks to Camera + for my fun polaroid style photo, even on a grey day in Sydney.
